Machado began playing the guitar at just two years old, and his latest album, Blue Diamonds, is a testament to his journey as an artist. The album is an amalgamation of R&B, funk, jazz, hip-hop, heavy rock, and psychedelia, creating an electrifying and unique sound. His first solo album, Aquarius Purple, showcases his talent as a musician and his ability to translate his emotions into music.
Aquarius Purple released to rave reviews debuting at #3 on Apple Music. The album was released solely on vinyl through Soul Step Records, and within 57 seconds, the limited edition of the album sold out; and the purple vinyl limited edition also sold out within an hour.
Marcus’ most recent project Blue Diamonds was also released on vinyl and DSPs and was recently featured in Guitar World Magazine.
In 2021, Marcus released a collaborative project with supergroup Th1rt3en featuring Pharoahe Monch and Daru Jones. Their classic rock/hip-hop album “A Magnificent Day For An Exorcism,” charted at #5 the first week of its release. Since then, the group has continued to soar with hard-hitting movie-like videos from leading singles "Fight" and “Cult 45.” The group was featured on both the Stephen Colbert Show and NPR Tiny Desk Concert with electrifying performances.
Marcus’ production team, Mach 7 Muzik includes his sister Vicky Casis and has been on a hot streak since 2020, releasing 2 projects (Black Summer and Black Summer Again) featuring an array of different hip-hop rappers from NYC. The team launched QSTV, a platform for musicians, artists and other creatives to showcase their talents during the COVID pandemic. QSTV can be watched on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook and hosts pop-up events around the U.S.
In addition to a cameo appearance in the TV series “Godfather of Harlem” starring Forest Whitaker, Marcus has secured endorsement deals with several top brands,
